Adds access to the 6 GHz band on compatible devices, which can provide cleaner spectrum and more capacity in supported environments.
Wi-Fi 7
Current enterprise and business platforms now offer Wi-Fi 7, including higher-end multi-gigabit access points. The value is highest when your client mix and wired backhaul can actually use the extra capability.
Our fit rule
Do not upgrade an otherwise healthy network solely to chase Wi-Fi 7. But for a new deployment with a multi-year lifecycle, include Wi-Fi 7 in the pricing comparison—especially if you expect newer 6 GHz-capable devices and multigig switching.
